We are looking for compassionate, reliable carers to support a 25-year-old gentleman living independently in Islington. This package consists of a live-in carer alongside 12-hour daytime and night support, providing a combination of complex care and daily living assistance.

The ideal candidates will have experience supporting individuals with complex physical needs, including moving and handling, pressure area care, and responding to significant muscle spasms, which can occasionally require two carers to assist safely. Maintaining correct positioning in his wheelchair is extremely important and requires a high level of attention and skill.

Please note this client is a smoker, carers will have to be comfortable being in an environment with a smoking client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities

• Assisting with mobility, positioning, and transfers

• Supporting tracheostomy care and respiratory needs

• Monitoring and assisting with BiPAP therapy as required

• Communicating effectively using non-verbal methods

• Working closely with the family and healthcare professionals
