Love working with little ones? Enjoy singing, stories and plenty of cuddles?
At HFH Healthcare, we're looking for kind, nurturing and attentive Paediatric Healthcare Assistants to support a lovely little girl with complex healthcare needs in her family home in Harrow.
Our client is a loving toddler who enjoys music, singing, stories, toys, cuddles and lots of attention. She thrives on interaction and needs someone who will talk to her, play with her and make her feel included throughout the day.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and understands that providing excellent care is about more than meeting medical needs.
If you're naturally warm, playful, patient and attentive, this could be a wonderful opportunity for you.
What will you be doing?
Providing personalised one-to-one care, comfort and companionship.
Engaging her through singing, stories, toys and age-appropriate play.
Supporting personal care, positioning and daily routines.
Assisting with prescribed physiotherapy activities and gentle stretches.
Supporting BiPAP, oxygen and airway clearance needs.
Providing NJ feeding support and monitoring for seizures.
Recognising and responding to changes in comfort or wellbeing.
Maintaining excellent hygiene, infection control and a clean care environment.
Following individual care plans and working closely with her family and clinical team.
What are we looking for?
A caring, nurturing personality and a genuine love of working with children.
Someone playful, engaging and happy to sing, read stories and give lots of attention.
Patience, reliability and excellent observation skills.
A strong commitment to cleanliness and infection control.
Previous care experience desirable, but transferable experience in childcare, nurseries, education or support work is welcome.
Paediatric complex care or tracheostomy experience would be an advantage.
Willingness to learn and follow specialist care procedures and clinical guidance.
Specialist clinical tasks must only be undertaken following appropriate training and competency assessment.
