Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Full Training Provided)
Pay: £12.71–£16.00 per hour
Location: Client's own home (single residence)
Hours: Full-time and Part-time available
Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts
Minimum commitment: 24 hours per week
About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to an individual with complex care needs in their own home.
This is a dedicated one-client, one-home position, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide consistent support without travelling between multiple service users or locations.
No previous care experience is required. We provide comprehensive in-house clinical training and ongoing support, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or develop a rewarding career in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred personal care, including support with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques
Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies
Monitor and accurately record changes in the client's health, wellbeing, and condition
Report concerns promptly to the supervising nurse or care manager
Support with meal preparation, hydration, and dietary requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
Follow care plans, risk assessments, and clinical guidance at all times
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members, and the wider care team to ensure continuity of care
What We're Looking For
Essential
A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A willingness to learn and develop new clinical skills
Ability to follow care plans, procedures, and record-keeping requirements accurately
Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays when required
Right to work in the UK
Ability to successfully complete enhanced DBS and reference checks
Desirable
Previous experience in care, support work, healthcare, or customer-facing roles
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Full Training Provided
Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training through our in-house clinical training programme, including ongoing competency assessments and support from experienced nursing professionals. No previous complex care experience is required.

Typical weekly earnings: £500–£555*
Estimated annual earnings: £26,200–£28,950*
Figures are based on average shift patterns and may include accrued holiday pay. Actual earnings will vary depending on hours worked and shift allocation.
