At HFH Healthcare, we're looking for a compassionate, reliable and adaptable Care Assistant or Support Worker to support an independent, creative woman living in her own flat near Worthing seafront.
Our client enjoys arts and crafts, music, singing, theatre, films, galleries and shopping. She's passionate about creative projects and enjoys spending time with the people who matter most to her.
She's sociable and enjoys good company, but also values her independence, privacy and quiet time.
We're looking for someone who can provide calm, considerate and professional support, knowing when to engage in conversation and when to give her space.

About the Working Pattern
This role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off rota.
£139 per day, paid weekly via PAYE.
During the usual working pattern, carers living locally can return to their own homes at night.
Flexibility to provide live-in support during occasional periods when required, including planned hospital stays.
The daily rate remains £139 during live-in periods.
Applicants living locally to Worthing are preferred.
What will you be doing?
Providing personalised care and support with daily routines.
Assisting with personal care, mobility and household activities.
Supporting bowel care and intermittent catheterisation following appropriate training and competency assessment.
Recognising when pain, fatigue or sensory sensitivities may affect her comfort.
Supporting shopping, outings and social activities when required.
Providing friendly companionship while respecting privacy and personal space.
Delivering care thoroughly, efficiently and according to her preferences.
Promoting dignity, independence and personal choice.
What are we looking for?
A compassionate, calm and reliable personality.
Someone discreet, respectful and attentive to detail.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
A strong commitment to hygiene and infection prevention.
Someone who understands when to engage socially and when to allow quiet time.
Sensitivity to noise, bright lights and strong fragrances.
A flexible approach to the live-in/live-out working pattern.
Previous care experience desirable, with training available.
Applicants living locally to Worthing preferred.
