We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead the growth of our Complex Care at Home services.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving new business, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a team of Business Development Managers to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Essential Requirement

Previous experience within a Complex Care at Home provider is essential.

This is not a general healthcare business development role. We are specifically seeking someone with a proven track record of securing and growing complex care packages within home-based care services, with established relationships across CHC teams, ICBs, Case Managers, Local Authorities, and other key referral sources.

Applications from candidates without direct Complex Care at Home experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the business development strategy.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Managers.

  • Secure new care packages, contracts, and growth opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, CHC teams, Case Managers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Lead tenders, presentations, and commercial negotiations.

  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to successfully mobilise new packages.

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve commercial targets.

About You

  • Proven business development success within a Complex Care at Home provider.

  • Experience leading high-performing commercial teams.

  • Strong understanding of CHC funding and community healthcare commissioning.

  • Established industry network and stakeholder relationships.

  • Commercially astute, driven, and results-focused.

  • Full UK driving licence.
