Salary: £13.00 - £17.93 per hour
Schedule: Waking nights,12 hour shifts available - you must be able to work 3 shifts across the course of the week.

About the Waking Nights Care Role
- Provide dedicated overnight care and supervision for children in their homes
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment throughout the night
- Deliver personal care and implement established routines as needed
- Monitor health and emotional wellbeing, responding calmly and quickly
- Work with one child per shift, offering continuity and stability
Children’s Carer - Waking Nights: Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support children during the night, addressing any needs promptly
- Carry out care tasks as outlined in individual care plans
- Administer medication and medical interventions (where required and after full training)
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding protocols
- Communicate effectively with families and the day care team
Essential Skills and Requirements for Night Care Jobs
- Previous experience in care or support work (children or young people desirable)
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive approach
- Confident communicator – both written and verbal
- Driver with access to own vehicle is essential for this waking nights carer role
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work12-hour night shifts, including weekends as required
- Willingness to undertake relevant training relating to children’s care needs
